Glenmorangie Extremely Rare 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The mild, fruity distillate comes from tall stills.
It spends its first 15 years in American white oak casks. Part of it then moves to Oloroso sherry casks for a further three years, and the two are brought back together at 18 years.
The nose offers rich fruit jam with honey and fig, hints of caramelised orange and the smoke of a distant campfire.
