Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1997 is a 23 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
Dr Bill devised it as a marriage of casks. Whisky aged wholly in bourbon casks hints at Glenmorangie's citrus character, while whisky finished for many years in oloroso sherry casks adds layers of sweetness and spice. A selection of other casks also plays a part.
It is described as full of candied sweetness and crimson cherries.
