Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1997 is a Highland single malt from the Bond House No. 1 Collection, in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2021, after more than two decades in American white oak casks.
The release was produced in very limited quantities and comes in a wood-effect case.
The nose is described as soft orchard fruits, baked pear, vanilla custard, gentle honey and polished oak. The palate is silky, with ripe peach, citrus oil, toasted almond, crème brûlée and light spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering vanilla, oak sweetness and delicate fruit.
