Glenmorangie – Grand Vintage Malt 1989 27 Year Old (70cl)

A 27 year old single malt from Glenmorangie, the second release in its Vintage Collection, Bond House No. 1. The whisky comes from some of the last spirit distilled in the distillery's former still house, home for more than a century to the tallest stills in Scotland. As it matured, the spirit inspired a marriage of whiskies in a chosen assemblage of casks. The most prestigious parcel was finished in ex-Côte-Rôtie wine casks. The result is described as rich and complex, with subtle finesse and a rare intensity.
