Glenmorangie Quarter Century is a 25 year old Scotch single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a range of casks, including American white oak, Oloroso sherry and French Burgundy, then blended back together in exact quantities.
On the nose there are dried fruits, namely blackberries, cherries, plums and dates, woven with chocolate and coffee. The palate is big and full-flavoured, with forest fruits, blackberries and redcurrants alongside bramble jelly. The finish is long and gentle, with brambles and warming spices.
