Glenmorangie Malaga 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, released as a Select Barrel Reserve small batch. It was bottled in July 2020 at 47.3% ABV and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The release began as an experiment. The whisky was aged first in bourbon casks, then for four years in Malaga dulce casks, sweet wine barrels from southern Spain.
It is sweet, with notes of honey and gentle spices.
