Glenmorangie – Nectar d'Or Sauternes Cask Finish

Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is a Highland single malt finished in French Sauternes casks. The whisky first spends at least ten years maturing in bourbon casks before moving to the Sauternes wine casks for its finish. It is described as full-bodied and rich, with fresh citrus notes. The nose offers cinnamon, toasted bread and sultanas. On the palate it is refreshing and rounded, bittersweet, with lime, lemon and crème caramel, then almonds, ginger and honey. The finish is long and clean, creamy and sweet, with vanilla, ginger and nutmeg.
