Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is a malt whisky given extra maturation in Sauternes casks from Bordeaux, a sweet dessert wine. The name means golden nectar.
The French wine casks lend the whisky an almost liqueur-like richness. At 46% the sweetness and the malt are described as sitting in balance, and it is bottled without filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
