Glenmorangie Original is a 12-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 1.75 litre bottle. It is the flagship expression of the Tain distillery, which runs the tallest copper pot stills in Scotland.
The whisky is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak.
The nose is ripe orange and peach with vanilla cream, a floral note and gentle wood spice. On the palate come honey, vanilla, peach, apricot and light spice. The finish carries almond, toasted coconut and a touch of maple syrup, fading clean and slightly sweet.
