Glenmorangie Original 12 Year is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery at Tain, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It is distilled in the tallest stills in Scotland, which stand 26 feet 3 inches high, and matures for twelve years in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon.
The nose is citrus and ripe peach with vanilla, honey and a floral touch. On the palate, vanilla, peach and apricot give way to citrus zest and honey. The finish is medium in length, with orange peel, toasted almond and gentle maple.
