This is Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban, a single malt in a 70cl bottle. It spends 10 years in bourbon casks before a further period in hand-selected casks that previously held Port.
It is not chill-filtered. The colour is a deep, bright yellow.
The nose is intense, with malt, cereal and bread crust alongside smoke and chocolate. The palate is broad and peaty, with a touch of citrus and spice. The finish is savoury, lightly toasted and persistent.
