Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky at 46% vol, in a 70cl bottle. Its character comes from dark roasted 'chocolate malt' barley, together with Glenmorangie's own Cadboll barley.
The final blend brings together whiskies matured in former sherry casks, spicy whiskies from new charred oak casks, and some of the oldest whiskies in the Glenmorangie stock.
The nose combines coffee, ginger and cinnamon with dark chocolate, tiramisu, dark toffee, caramelised orange peel and rich fruit cake. The palate is velvety and spicy, with bitter mocha, roasted hazelnuts and soft butterscotch. The finish brings mocha, cappuccino and amaretto, then chocolate-covered raisins and orange.
