Glenmorangie – Spìos Private Edition (70cl)

Spìos is the ninth annual release in Glenmorangie's Private Edition series, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Glenmorangie to be matured entirely in American ex-rye whiskey casks. The name is Scots Gaelic for spice. The whisky was inspired by the era when American rye whiskey was celebrated in the country's grand saloons, and the rye casks bring out cinnamon and clove. It is described as full-bodied and savoury, with a subtle spiciness.
