Glenmorangie – Spìos Private Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

Glenmorangie Spìos is the ninth annual release in the Private Edition series, in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Glenmorangie to be fully matured in American ex-rye whiskey casks. The name is Scots Gaelic for spice, pronounced spee-oss. The whisky was inspired by the era when American rye was celebrated in the country's grand saloons, and the casks let rye's cinnamon and clove notes come through in the Highland distillery's spirit. It is full-bodied and savoury, with a subtle spice.
