Glenmorangie – Tale of the Forest (70cl, 46%)

Tale of the Forest is a Glenmorangie single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was created by Dr Bill Lumsden, the distillery's director of whisky creation, who wanted a whisky that evokes the scents, sounds and sights of the woodland near his home. The barley was kilned with botanicals, a practice that was once common and that Glenmorangie revived here after a series of experiments. The botanicals are juniper berries, birch bark and heather flowers, together with a little peat.
