Glenmorangie – The Infinita 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Glenmorangie The Infinita is an 18 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It was previously sold as Glenmorangie 18 Year Old and was renamed and reworked under whisky maker Dr Bill Lumsden. The whisky matures for an initial fifteen years before bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks are married to complete the 18 years. The nose is typically described as heather honey, toasted oak, citrus peel and candied ginger. On the palate come honeyed fruits, peach, mandarin, pepper and clove, and the long finish brings sultana, oak and marmalade with a little smoke.
