Glenmorangie – The Lasanta 12 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Glenmorangie The Lasanta is a 12 year old single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spends twelve years in bourbon casks and then receives a finish in sherry casks. Dr. Bill, Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, set out to capture the magic of a sunset in the bottle. The colour is amber. The nose is of fine spices, chocolate, raisins, honey and caramel. On the palate come raisins, orange, walnuts and butterscotch, and the long finish carries chocolate and orange.
