Glenmorangie The Nectar is a 16-year-old Highland single malt, matured fully in Sauternes dessert-wine casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The Sauternes maturation gives the distillery's floral spirit a honeyed, dessert-wine sweetness, with apricot running through it.
On the palate it is typically described as honey, candied apricot, orange and vanilla, with a silky, sweet texture. The finish is long, rich and dessert-like.
