Glenmorangie The Original is the 10 year old single malt from Glenmorangie Distillery in Tain, in the Northern Highlands, which was founded in 1843. It is bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle.
The spirit is distilled in stills 16 feet 10 inches tall, which let only the lightest vapours rise into the spirit and give a smoother, more floral new make. It then matures for 10 years in first and second fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks, including slow-grown, air-dried designer casks from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri.
