Glenmorangie – The Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% vol. It spent 14 years in bourbon casks and was then finished in Port casks from Portugal. Dr Bill, Glenmorangie's Director of Whisky Creation, set out to capture the wilderness with it, and the aromas lean towards woodland, nuts and peppermint. The nose offers dark mint chocolate, orange, walnuts, nutmeg and pepper. The palate returns to dark mint chocolate, with rose petals, white nougat and orange. The finish is long, with dark mint chocolate and orange.
