Glenmorangie – X (70cl)

Glenmorangie X is a single malt from the North Highlands, matured in charred oak casks that previously held bourbon. It was created as a single malt of high quality that works well in mixed drinks. The distillery was converted from a brewery by William Matheson in 1843, and its spirit is made in stills more than five metres tall. The nose brings ripe yellow fruit, Williams pear, peach, orange and mandarin peel, with hints of vanilla, honey and dark chocolate. The palate is soft, with sweet, ripe fruit, and the finish is fragrant and lasting.
