Glenmorangie 'X' is a Highland single malt made for mixing, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It is the distillery's first single malt created specifically for that purpose, developed by Dr Bill Lumsden with leading bartenders and launched in 2021.
The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, with a portion finished in new charred American oak for extra sweetness and body.
The nose is pear, vanilla, honeysuckle and oranges. The palate brings orange sherbet and crème brûlée with chocolate fudge, and the finish is long, rich and sweet, lifted by citrus, baked apple and spice.
