Glenrothes 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is part of The Glenrothes' Soleo Collection.
The whisky spent twelve years maturing exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks, and it is bottled at natural colour with nothing added.
The nose is light and fragrant, with banana, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate there is banana, lemon and melon with warm cinnamon, all in a creamy vanilla texture. The finish is long and sweet, with galia melon and a light touch of spice.
