Glenrothes 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt aged for 15 years exclusively in European oak sherry-seasoned casks and bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Master Whisky Maker Laura Rampling selects it cask by cask, pairing the distillery's light new-make spirit with bold first-fill European oak.
It joined the permanent range in late 2024, and like every Glenrothes it is presented without added colouring.
The nose brings dark brown sugar, baked orchard fruits, hazelnut praline and sweet spice. The palate has caramelised pears, dark chocolate, pecan pie, crystallised ginger and orange marmalade, and the finish is rich and sweet with bright spice and soft oak.
