Glenrothes – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Glenrothes (Speyside). Aged 18 years, bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. Glenrothes distillery is situated in the Speyside town of Rothes and has been producing single malt Scotch whisky since the late nineteenth century. It is one of several distilleries in that glen and is known for producing rich, full-bodied spirit. This expression was distilled at Glenrothes on 12 November 1990 and matured in a Refill Sherry cask (cask no. 3331) before being bottled on 20 April 2009 at 18 years of age, yielding an outturn of 70 bottles. Bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour, non-chill filtered, by The Single Malts of Scotland — a range selecting individual casks or small batches from across Scotland's producing regions.
