Glenrothes 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured entirely in sherry oak casks, a high proportion of them first fill. It is bottled at natural colour, at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with citrus and freshly squeezed oranges, then vanilla and marzipan. On the palate come sweet fruit, pears and rose water, balanced by warming cloves. The finish is sweet, spicy and slightly peppery.
