This Glenrothes is a Speyside single malt distilled on 16 December 1988 and bottled in 2017 after 28 years in cask. It is the second edition of the 1988 vintage from The Glenrothes, bottled at 44.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in former Oloroso sherry casks of American oak. First-fill sherry hogsheads were combined with refill sherry casks for this edition.
