This is a 30 year old Glenrothes from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage for its Symington's Choice series. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 54.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, which yielded 499 bottles. It is bottled without chill-filtration and without added colouring.
The deep colour from the cask points to rich sherry notes, with complex fruit and fine spice.
