Glenrothes 40 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, matured for four decades in oak casks and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is dried fruit, acacia honey and sweet spice, with slightly smoky touches. On the palate it is velvety, with vanilla, caramel and ripe citrus.
The finish is long and soft, with spicy aftertastes and a warm, lingering feel.
