Glenturret Ovation is a twelve year old Highland single malt from Perthshire, Scotland, made for the German market. Peated malted barley gives it a smoky base, and maturation in sherry casks of European oak adds fruit and spice.
It is bottled at 47% without added colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose offers citrus freshness with toffee apple and dried fruit. On the palate, sherried fruit meets restrained smoke and mild spice. The finish is long, with fruit, smoke and spice together.
