This is a 14 year old peated single malt from Glenturret, bottled in 2025 at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 2,000 bottles filled. It matured in sherry-seasoned casks, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez, and is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
Glenturret was founded in 1763 and is described as the oldest working distillery in Scotland.
The nose brings dried fruit, toffee apple and spiced ginger cake, wrapped in soft veils of peat smoke. On the palate the texture is dense, with aniseed and molasses merging into dark oak.
