This is a 25 year old single malt from Glenturret, the distillery near the town of Crieff, which dates its history to at least 1775. It is the 2023 release of the expression. The whisky was matured in six casks, kept in the distillery's dunnage warehouses. Both European and American oak were used. The European oak brings rich fruitiness, fragrant spices and a distinct oak character, while the American oak adds sweetness and vanilla.
