This is the second Manager's Dram from Glenturret, a Highland single malt created to honour the people who have passed their skills down at the distillery. It was made from a small batch of casks spanning many years.
The whisky matured mainly in European oak sherry casks, with hints of American oak and mellow peat. It is the second in an annual series and is limited to 750 hand-numbered bottles.
The nose offers windswept moorland peat, toffee, dried raisins and dark chocolate orange. The palate is warm and oaky, with dark fruits and sweet ripe oranges.
