Glenugie 5 Year Old is a Scotch single malt from the Glenugie distillery, bottled independently in the 1980s. It comes in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV, and the front label is missing.
On the nose it is described as orchard apple, pear and dried apricot, with cinnamon, clove and a little oak. The palate brings honey, vanilla and earthy peat smoke, with nutmeg, toasted almonds and a velvety texture. The finish is long, with gentle smoke and spiced caramel.
