Glenwyvis 2018 Inaugural Release – Batch 01/21 (70cl, 50%)

Glenwyvis Batch 01/21 is the inaugural release from Dingwall, the town's first whisky in almost 100 years, and a Highland single malt bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Just 2000 bottles were filled. It was bottled at just over three years old and matured in 80% first fill Tennessee whiskey barrels, 15% first fill Moscatel casks and 5% refill whisky hogsheads. It is non-chill filtered and has no colouring added. The character stays grain forward, with a fruity maltiness from a very long fermentation, a light and balanced oak influence and a touch of dessert richness.
