Godet XO Gastronome is an XO cognac from the house of Godet, founded in 1782 and based near La Rochelle. It is distilled only from grapes grown in Grande Champagne, and extended ageing in French oak barriques gives it a deep amber colour.
The nose offers ripe fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and clove, with hints of cocoa and tobacco. The palate is rich and velvety, with plum, honey and hazelnut, leading to a persistent, harmonious finish.
