This is a limited edition Gold Bar American blended whiskey made for the San Francisco 49ers. It marks "The Catch", Dwight Clark's touchdown from Joe Montana in the 1982 NFC Championship Game. The whiskey is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is finished in Napa Valley wine casks. The bar-shaped bottle is painted in 24-karat gold and carries artwork commemorating the play.
The nose offers light vanilla, toasted oak, caramel and soft fruit. The palate has honey, vanilla, dried fruit and subtle spice, and the finish is medium with gentle sweetness and soft oak.
