This is a 16 year old blended American whiskey from the Gold Bar Joe Montana Collection, in a 75cl bottle shaped like a gold bar. The release is a limited edition that pays tribute to the American football player Joe Montana. The tasting notes describe a nose of caramel, toasted oak and vanilla, with dried fruit and spice behind. On the palate come butterscotch, dark chocolate and a little cinnamon, with gentle oak and a hint of smoke. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and spiced oak.
