Gold Bar Joe Montana is a limited edition three-year-old American whiskey from California, made in the San Francisco Bay area and bottled at 41% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 80% corn, 10% rye and 10% barley.
The whiskey is first aged in Napa Valley red wine barrels, then finished in ex-Cognac casks with toasted oak staves.
The tasting notes describe ripe berries, soft vanilla and warm spice, rounded by gentle oak and a touch of fruit sweetness. It can be taken neat, over ice or in cocktails.
