Gold Bar Rickhouse is a straight bourbon bottled at cask strength, 103 proof (51.5%), and non-chill filtered. It is triple distilled in copper pot stills from a mash bill of 80% corn and 20% rye.
The whiskey matures in extra charred new American oak and is then raked over French oak staves, giving an oak and smoke character. The colour is a rich mahogany.
Aromas of grilled meats, campfire, caramel, brown sugar and coffee lead to a medium-full body that is smooth and nutty, ending in a sweet vanilla bean finish.
