Gold Bar Rickhouse is a straight bourbon whiskey bottled at cask strength, 51.5% ABV or 103 proof. The mash bill is 80% corn and 20% rye, and the spirit is triple distilled in copper pots.
It is matured in extra charred new American oak, then raked over French oak staves, which gives a profile of oak and smoke with a lingering sweetness. It is non-chill filtered.
The whiskey is described as bold, toasty and rich, with pronounced vanilla, spice and smoke.
