Gold Spot Single Pot Still Irish Generations Edition is a limited release from Dublin, rooted in the Mitchell family and the Spot Whiskey tradition. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The whiskey is made from malted and unmalted barley and matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then finished for 17 months in Valpolicella Classica Italian wine barrels.
The nose offers red apples, dark fruits, floral notes and gentle spice. The palate is rich and softly textured, with berry compote, toffee apple and raisins. The finish is long, with fading oak and lingering fruit.
