This Benrinnes is a 13 year old Speyside single malt from the Goldfinch Bodega Series, bottled by Goldfinch Whisky Merchants in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a single first fill oloroso sherry cask and bottled at 52% ABV, in its natural colour and without chill filtration. The outturn is 390 bottles.
The nose offers chocolate and fruit cookies sprinkled with cinnamon, served with vanilla cream. On the palate there are citrus and spice, and warm pastry tarts with macerated fruit and berries. The finish is malty and nutty, with more macerated berries, vanilla and wood spice.
