Apostoles is a V.O.R.S. sherry from González Byass, the house founded in 1835, in a 37.5cl bottle. V.O.R.S. stands for Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum, and wines of this grade are aged for at least 30 years.
It is aged for more than thirty years in American oak casks using the Solera and Criadera system. The blend is 87% Palomino and 13% Pedro Ximénez.
The taste is complex and concentrated, with fruit, oak and caramel notes. It pairs with cheese, red meat or potato pâté.
