González Byass Del Duque VORS (37.5cl)

Del Duque is a VORS sherry from González Byass, in a 37.5cl bottle. It is made from 100% Palomino and aged for more than thirty years in American oak, using the solera and criadera system, including around four years under yeast. VORS, short for Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum, marks sherries with at least 30 years of ageing. The house was founded in 1835 and owns all of its 800 hectares of vineyard. The nose shows ripe fruit, bitter almonds and toasted bread. The palate is complex, aromatic and dry. It suits mature or hard cheeses.
