Matusalem is a VORS sherry from Gonzàlez Byass, the house founded in 1835. It comes in a 37.5cl bottle. VORS, or Vinum Optimum Rare Signatum, marks sherries with at least 30 years of ageing.
It is made from a blend of Palomino Fino, Palomino and Pedro Ximénez, and aged for more than thirty years in American oak by the solera and criadera method.
The palate is soft, elegant and complex, with walnuts, dates, raisins and spice against a background of oak.
