Gordon & MacPhail Linkwood 25 Year Old 'Distillery Labels' (46%)

This is a 25 year old single malt from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Distillery Labels range at 46% vol. Linkwood was founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, at a time when distilling whisky was still illegal in Scotland. Production began in 1825, shortly after Glenlivet, which makes Linkwood arguably the country's second legal distillery. Most of what it produces goes into blends, most notably Johnnie Walker and White Horse.
