This Glen Grant is the second edition of Gordon & MacPhail's Mr. George Legacy, bottled at 64 years old and 56.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The series honours George Urquhart, the director who created the Connoisseurs Choice range in 1968 and grandfather of the company's current Operations Director, Stuart Urquhart.
The whisky was filled into a single first-fill ex-sherry butt on 10th October 1957 and bottled at cask strength in 2021. The cask gave it a very dark chestnut colour and produced 298 bottles.
