Lochside 1981 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection.
The nose combines mandarin peel and rich Sherry with salted almonds, raspberry compote and a hint of malted biscuit. On the palate come roasted coffee beans, walnuts and stewed raisins, with blackcurrant jam, Seville orange peel and red apple. The finish is long, with lingering hazelnuts and cocoa powder.
