Graham's 10 Year Old Tawny Port

This is a 10 Year Old Tawny port from W. & J. Graham's, made from a selection of wines from vineyards in the Douro Valley. The wines are aged in oak casks for at least ten years. The colour is a bright amber red with orange reflections. The nose is intensely aromatic, with ripe fruit such as dried apricots and raisins, and vanilla and cinnamon from the wood. On the palate sweetness and acidity are well balanced, with dried fruit, chocolate and caramel in a velvety texture, leading to a long finish with a spicy complexity. It suits drinking on its own after a meal, or with mature cheeses and chocolate desserts. It comes in a tube.
